Happy Thanksgiving!
General Shop-Students are progressing well on their projects! We are working on the trim for the bottom this week. Students will be using the miter saw and cutting angles. Getting some to hand sand their projects and pay attention to detail is difficult at times. Overall, the fisrt 9 weeks went well and students are willing to work for the most part and pretty well behaved.
Advance Shop- Students in my advance shop are also progressing okay! The first 9 weeks went equally as well.Some students come in and get right after it well others tend to need a little push. If you have a student in 7th hour. I know it is close to the end of the day, but this class likes to do little work. And it is affecting some grades. There grade is based on clean -up too!!
Advance P.E- We are still lifting everyday, but switching to just three days after the Thanksgiving holiday because of winter sports..... Students need to dress even if they participate they are losing points and hurting their grade. I do believe students are getting stronger those who follow directions especially.
High School P.E-We are trying to lift three days a week ,but with part weeks , holidays and the class size it has been challenging. Students do need to fill their daily lifting log at weeks end to get the 20 points for lifting.
