Advance P.E/ High School P.E- Dress and participation are what your grade is based on everyday! I have alot of students who don't participate to their full potential and some who fail to dress on a regular basis. If weather permits we will be running a mile in class this week! I will record their time like I did their push-ups, sit ups, bench press and squat weight. This will be part of their exam come semester. In the weight room students need to record scores neatly and lift.
General Shop- Students who didn't get a 90% or better on their FRACTIONS QUIZ will be taking a retake on Monday in 6th hour. The 3rd hour class took their retake on Friday and did well. Students are working on building their raised panels and gluing them together. Some students are ahead of them and have their sides built all ready. There could be a quiz this week over every thing we have talked about this year so far. It will include machine operation and the different processes we have gone over so far this year. Nothing hard just some good thinking and common sense. I will also have writing assignment #2 for them to work on in class.
Advance Shop- Things are going well!!! Students will be working on their projects this week along with going over how to set up and use the Dado Blade System. They will be required to know how to take on and off the dado blade and set it up. A small quiz will follow afterwards to check for understanding. I also hope to do more this week with some ACT Math.
