High School P.E/ Advance P.E- Students have been given a lock and locker to store their gym clothes in everyday so they don' have to carry them each day!!However, the locks do absolutely nothing if the students don't lock them. I also strongly suggest large amounts of cash and other expensive valuables not be stored in gym lockers!!! We stretch each day, run laps and do push-ups and sit-ups everyday. I will start testing students on how many sit-ups and push ups they can do along with their max. weight in the bench press and squat.
General Shop- Students will start cutting boards for their nightstand project this week!Which means they will need to know what kind of wood they want to use for their project. I sent a sheet home with all general shop students the first week of school called" What you need to know about General Shop". It outlined the cost of the nightstand project and other important info I thought parents should know about the class. Please read and sign so your son/daughter can return it to me. Also, all students need a tape measure and pencil for class each day. We will start going over fractions in class.
Advance Shop- All students need to build a project!!!!!!All are required to draw it , have a picture or something I and them can work from. This week I will be sending home a sheet that has their project and a estimated cost to build that project included. Please sign it and return it A.S.A.P.They also need a tape measure and pencil everyday, as well as be in class on time.
All 9th, 10th and 11th grade students will be testing in the morning of Sept. 12th 8:15 to 11:56! Seniors are off unless they are in morning CTC.
